Hello, Ozimals friends!
The Easter season, in Oz, borrows many traditions from our world, but the most popular one of all is Pysanky. Never heard of it? A pysanka is a special Easter egg, decorated with wax resist, the same way batik fabric is made. These eggs are part of folk traditions throughout eastern Europe, and date to ancient times as symbols of new life, spring, protection, and magic. These things are of course just as important to the citizens of Oz, and they have happily adapted the traditional designs and colors to Oz's tastes and resources.
We'll be sharing the Oz versions with you many different ways this year, and the first of them is a pair of special elite bunnies, Earth 2014 and Sprout 2014, available exclusively from Ozimals in the Happy Easter 2014 Pair Pack!
Both nests are random-gender, with unlocked ears and shades. What this means is that the bunnies born from them can have any currently available ear type and shade, instead of the limited group available in standard "starter" nests. These bunnies are version 2.9, and have the same chance at new 2.9 genetic traits as other starters. They will only be available from this pack, and it will only be sold through the end of April 2014.
There is a Happiness totem in the pack, too! We haven't done one of these in a while, so if you haven't used one before or just need a refresher, here is how the totem works. Set it out among your bunnies and/or Pufflings, and it will boost the Happiness/Bliss of the closest ten (within a 3-meter radius) of them by 3%, allowing them to build Love/Charm for a longer time and be ready to breed more quickly! On May 1st they will cease providing this boost, and become collectible Easter decorations for your warren.
The pack also includes one transferable 10-use nest dye, and one Level 2 Standard Food.
