Magic of Oz 2016 Easter Hunt!

The Magic of Oz 2016 Easter Egg Hunt begins at 12:00 noon SLT on Wednesday, March 23! The hunt will run through midnight on Friday evening, April 8.

There are exclusive prizes to be won from our Munchkinland merchants ~silentsparrow~, Schadenfreude, Half-Deer, *katat0nik*, Cerridwen's Cauldron, Cubic Cherry Kre-ations, Fallen Gods Inc., and, of course, Ozimals!

Here is how the hunt works:

Once the hunt opens on Wednesday, when you teleport to Magic of Oz, you'll see a sign at the landing point advertising the hunt. Click the sign, and you'll receive an empty egg-gathering basket to wear. Decorated eggs will appear all over the sim, in hundreds of hiding places. When you find an egg, click it! (You may have to right-click and "touch") It will vanish, then reappear in your basket.

Be careful! If you try to grab more than one egg in a thirty-second period, you'll get the first one, but the rest will break, and will not count towards filling your basket.

When you have collected six eggs, a menu will pop up asking you to choose a shop whose prize you would like to receive. Once you make your selection, you will receive a stack of eggs to wear on your head. Wearing your eggs, go to the shop you have chosen in Munchkinland. You'll see an Easter basket in the shop:

Easter Basket--get up close!

Creep up close to it--within two meters--and click the stack of eggs you're wearing on your head. The Easter basket will give you your prize! If a merchant has put more than one prize in their basket, it will randomly pick one for you. Once you have your prize, you can play again by refilling the same basket. Each stack of eggs, however, will only work once, and only for the shop you chose from the menu, so once you've received your prize, it's wise to detach and delete that stack.

When you are all done, you can use the basket's menu to make it into a collectible decoration, with color-change options!

Ozimals Bunnies for Easter 2016

The basket at the Ozimals Bunny Mainstore contains a variety of special Easter-themed treats. There is a Love totem, which works from now through the end of the hunt to boost the Love stat for bunnies and the Charm stat for Pufflings, and a selection of candies which can be fed to an individual bunny to instantly raise his or her Energy. Also in the bunny store's basket, however, are THREE very special bunnies--Easter elites that will only be available from this hunt! These nests - Spring Dot, Spring Stripe, and Spring Doodle - have unlocked ears and shades, which means that your baby bunnies can have any currently available ear type or shade.

Ozimals Puffling for Easter 2016

The Ozimals Pufflings Mainstore's basket contains Easter candies that can be fed to an individual Puffling to instantly raise his or her Zip, as well as a limited edition Paragon egg. This new Puffling Paragon will only be available from this hunt, and comes packed with Puffling food in his or her own special birdhouse.
